Ok, this might be silly... I was at the mall today looking at cell phone holders that might work for my pump, because I'm not fond of either one that came with it. A display of cell phone charms caught my eye. I thought why not, and bought a charm (blue crystal star) to accesorize my pump. How about it - are any of you adding a little style and personality to yours? (Or have I completely lost it? :flute: )
cheers,

My pump sits on my belt just the way it came from the factory. a transparent blue MM 515. Looks classy enough in it's own right.

Hi Jenet,
Like you, I think the standard cases are pretty lame, usually. I'm all about making a statement with my pump. I put mine in bright cases, including the www.funfriends.com frog (the one for the candy bar phone)! :D I take my Diabetes serious enough.....it's good have fun with it, and make the best of accessorizing! ;) I'd love to see pics of the way it looks with the cell charms on it!
At one point, I had a Strawberry Shortcake pouch I was toting my pump around in. :D

Came across this site for pumpers a long time ago: Pump Wear. (http://www.pumpwearinc.com/index.cfm)

Too funny! You're timing was right on though. Today is another first for me, with my pump tucked discretely in my décolletage. ;)
Dewey, I brought my digital camera to work with me so I could take a picture of my charmed pump in good lighting (after the sun came up). I'll post it this evening after I get home.
I've always been very open about the diabetes, and am already showing my pump to anyone and everyone - even the guy at the phone kiosk at the mall on Sunday. I'm going to educate the world about diabetes, one person at a time!

Well, it's not all that low. :T
I may be in Nevada, but I'm just a boring IT person.

Sorry, that was supposed to have LOL at the end, but I got called away by a student.

No problem. I originally read it as a joke, so I was surprised to look back and see the LOL wasn't there. :)

I am the same way. I wear my pump on my belt and use the hard black case Animas sent with it. Every now and then I bust out the leather case. Everyone at work knows I have it. Heck I found one co worker who's daughter is on the pump and another co worker who's husband wants to talk to me about the pump. I think they are all so happy that I no longer give myself shots while sitting next to them :nurse:

Camera/computer problems. :hmpf: I'll keep trying, but it may be a day or two.

Ya think maybe they were afraid you'd miss, and get them by accident?
