there is around 12-15 carbs in 8oz of milk. How many ounces are putting in a cup of coffee?

I always test before having coffee, and because I prefer it on the light side, using light cream and one equal, I have to bolus at least a unit of insulin. Otherwise, it will raise me at least 30 points.

Usually it's the cafeine that does it. Cafeine increases the levels of stress hormones, which increase insulin resistance. And that makes the blood sugar goe up.
