I have a question for everyone.
I currently use the 6mm inset and usually (9 times out of 10) put it on my left side (your right if you're facing me). Now, it seems as though whenever I put it on my right side I can only keep it in for a day. I had one in yesterday that really started to bother me (felt like a tugging sensation), so I decided to take it out. When I did, it started to bleed. Not much, but some blood was coming out of it. Does this mean I'm hitting muscle? I can put it in the same place on the other side but on right side it doesn't want to work. Could my comfort issues be coming from the muscle or not?

Y'know, I've been thinking about this, and the only thing I can reasonably come up with is technique, like maybe your insertion into your right side technique is not as good as when you go left? The only thing I can think of (and this would waste a couple good insertion sets, but) is to have Ciello put in an insertion set on both sides at about the same time, and to see if you still have a problem on the right side...if so, there is something "deeper" going on here. If not, it's you and you can be corrected. ;)

I don't get it. Whenever I take out the inset on the "good" side it rarely bleeds but whenever I take it out on the "bad" it almost always bleeds. Could I be hitting something else besides muscle? Nerves? Veins?

Back in the good ol' days when I used to work out (rolling eyes) us "veterans" would make fun of rookies who came into the gym and were a lot stronger on their dominant side than their weak side. Indeed, sometimes you could see that some guys had more musculature on one side as opposed to the other. Having said that, I wonder if your dominant side is just a little more built-up? Sounds far-fetched, doesn't it?
It is probably a vein--you can slice those in half and not know it. Muscle, on the other hand, you feel almost immediately. Nerves you probably would "feel", and if I remember right from cadaver class, they were much more strong like strong thread (even the small ones) so you would probably have a hard time puncturing a nerve and not realize it--I could be wrong.
Are you more ticklish on one side versus another?
