Good day all.
I was sent this link to an article on the use of cinnamon for helping us to battle our type two diabetes. Read the article, and make up your own minds as to its validity.
I like cinnamon in my oatmeal in the morning.
Cheers.

I use Cinnamon every morning with breakfast, I haven't noticed any significant difference with my blood sugars but I love the taste :)

I have type 1 and tried it for several months and never noticed any improvement in my blood sugar. Maybe it works for some, but not for me.

Nice photos of the lighthouses, Glenn!
I've heard of this before but there really isn't much I eat where I can use cinammon, though I purchased a new bottle of organic cinammon just this week.

I've been using cinnamon capsule. I haven't noticed a lot of difference myself, but some have.
I did a little research online a few months back (I think I've posted this before), I don't have the info here at home (on my work computer), but cinnamon has a molecule that mimics insulin. I'll post the info I have on Monday.

With two capsules of cinnamon a day, night and morning, I see a reduction of two units of Lantus. It is repeatable.... No cinnamon, up two units. With cinnamon, down two units.

For me, cinnamon has no effect. I took it faithfully for several months, and finally had to concede that it just didn't help.

If there is a difference with using the cinnamon, I cannot tell. I have been using it daily, but my levels have been anywhere from 80 to 200, for a few weeks. I figure it can't hurt, and it might help, so I use it every chance I get.

I just started taking a cinnamon tab every morning with breakfast, after the new doctor recommended it last week. He also recommended chromium.
Then the sweet old lady at the vitamin store, who was also diabetic it turned out, suggested "Gluco Control" which has Chromium, Bananalean, Bitter Melon, Ginseng and Fenugreek. So I bought that and I've been taking it too.
Let's see if and how it helps.
I've been eating at least a tsp each day but bought a bottle of capsules. How long will it take until I begin to notice a difference?
