OK..2 questions. Where did they get the pancreas cells? Do pancreatic cells re-generate? If I could share my pancreas w/Taylor, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I'm no expert on this side of things, but you've heard of stem cell research? Well, this is part of/related to all that. Pancreatic cells don't re-generate, but they are generated from pancreatic stem cells.
I'm touched by your offer to share your pancreas, that's something that can't be done. You could donate your pancreas, but then you'd be real hard up:frown: and Taylor would have to take anti-rejection, immune suppression drugs the rest of her life, not really better than her situation now. And this works only part of the time anyway.
