Hey everyone..
Well, I went for my 2nd visit w/ all the results in and she explained everything including that It was a 98% it was MS. I was OK and she told me she needed a Spinal Tap... Arg!!!!!!!
This would confirm it 100%/ juice u for a lil more money..lol
She wants to start me on the medication ASAP and she tells me this will prevent everything and anything at the age of 60.
She was very surprised at how well I got so fast w/ NO medication, but did examine everything and wants to rule out anything else.
She showed all the lesions on my brain as I sat in her office and she walked me through it. The new phase begins, although Im still going for that 2nd opinion.
I owe my positive attitude to everyone of my family members HERE!!!
THANK YOU!!!

What do you mean? Will the medication prevent problems until the age of 60?

It is a really hard blow, Cinn, and you have bounced back quickly :boxing: . I am sorry about what you are going through, but know that you will roll with the punches and keep up a good fight :fight: .
Your attitude will help keep you well and I hope that the treatment plan you work out with your neuro alleviates all symptoms and gets you back on the beach worrying about things like getting sand in your picnic or too much sun on your back.

Hi Cinnabon,
I want to tell you how sorry I was to hear the news before, but also want to tell you how much I admire your strength & courage. Please continue to keep us updated on everything, as you know we worry about ya!
I read that you've been doing better, without meds so far. That's awesome! I have a local friend who has MS, but you'd never know it....She bikes, is able to work and gets around pretty well. She's on meds, but I can't recall which ones. She did have one bout recently, which resulted in surgery for her shoulder, but got right back up & has been going strong again ever since. Continue to take good care of yourself, and thanks for keeping us posted. If you ever need an ear, remember, we're here!

It is so good to know someone with your courage, Cinnabon. You are to be very much admired. I hope everything continues to go so positively.
I don't know how many times a day I say, "What a marvelous time to live." True all the misery can't be taken away, but it is so much better than a very few years ago. There are things they can do.
Keep the attitude just like it is.
Thanks for sharing and continue sharing please.

Cinn...
Thank-you for keepin us posted- I know you have been in my thoughts...
I have to agree with Erin, I think having a positive attitude really is important. I admit, mine could use improvement regarding my Diabetes, but I'm trying to change that...
I don't know what to think about the Spinal Tap... that doesn't sound like fun, but if it will clarify things and provide more insight, it will be good to have it done. I'm sure it's not as bad as you think. Plus, maybe the result's will show that you are in the 2%...that this isn't the problem for you afterall.
As others have said, I'm positive that people who have MS can still have long, healthy, AND happy lives. We have a tendancy to think of the worst possible situation, but that doesn't mean that's what your situation is going to be. Just like Diabetes, everyone's experience is different. You are more than capable of handling this...
Please continue to keep us updated... I know we'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best.
Much love
