You're as young as you feel.

Yeah, I pretty much still feel like I am 19, w/ ten years more wisdom, pounds, kids, hubby and a mortgage payment.

You can fit in anywhere you make a place for yourself. We all live in our own little worlds and we take them with us wherever we go. You are a young adult in your world, so join the young adult forum (but do check out all the others as well as the threads are often relevant--I check out New Posts regularly).

Are you worried that people will still think of you as a kid, or that they think you are getting old?:hmmmm2: Personally, I am looking forward to my second childhood, does anyone know when that starts?:marchmell

I am worried about feeling old. Particularly because of being diabetic. All of my friends are still in the eating and drinking whatever they want phase...and when they talk to me, I sound like I am 65. "I went to my doctor today...yada yada yada".
I still feel young though...so I'll be lurking, here and among the rest of the forum. I think I found a place I can settle into.

LOL  I'm right up there with ya! I'm 26 and can't believe 30 will be knocking on the door soon enough. I always wondered why my parents made it such a big deal about getting older and now I'm knowing exactly why they were complaining so much.

Youth is in the eye of the beholder, or something like that... I also believe that you are as youthful as you want to be. One of my best friends is over 50 and wakeboards in professional tournaments. He usually blows always the guys and gals in their 20's or younger!
Mind over matter, our body is just matter that we need to master, assuming there are no debilitating diseases stopping us.

Some days, I need to remind myself that I am too old to do some things, sometimes I forget and end up hurting this old body! My head and heart tell me I can do anything I want, then my body just laughs at them!:2in1:
