I have been pumping for 4 years so why the sudden anxiety?

Well after 4 solid years with the Quickset I tried a new infusion set today, called Comfort. I think Animas makes it, but I use it with my Cozmo. Anywho. It's an angled insertion and I haven't done one before. It was agonizing putting it in, I had to do it twice before I got it in correctly. Any tips for insertion?

Also, I'm leaving early tomm. morning for San Francisco, 4 days without my parents. I've already had 5 lows in the 50s today.

I'm wondering, is it because recent weight loss attributed to increased insulin sensitivity? I've adjusted my basal rates down (mom is worried), but I'm wondering if it's just for today on account of my nerves.

Less fat can increase insulin sensitivity, yes.

Have you tried the Cleo90 yet? I was using the Comfort sets from Cozmore, and they are worrisome to insert, but comfortable afterward...The Cleo90 I just started, and though I have only used them twice, both times I had to ask myself "Did that even go in?" because it was so painless...

Sorry, don't mean to derail the topic.

Oh, no problem derailing the topic. I might order the Cleo90 once these boxes of Comfort run out, I generally like the straight insertion. Does it come with an injector?

Psst: You're right about it being comfortable after insertion :) Can't feel a thing.

Built-in injector. The the canula detaches from the insertion site in the coolest way...I can't really describe it, but you snap it into place in one of either 8 positions. I am going to write up a review at some point...
