Hi All - I just finished ordering my USB cable for my Ascensia meter and the software as well.
I figure it has to be more convenient, more reliable, and better able to keep an archival and consistent account of BG as opposed to writing in that crappy little log book.
So - my question is, can anyone else share some insight with managing your diabetes with this software rather than pencil and logbook?
Thanks!

I don't know much about that software but for my One Touch UltraSmart I have the computer software and here's how I use it...
~I can see my averages in time periods so I know if my control is improving or not. I usually compare my 14 to my 30 to my 90 day avergae. I use the 14 day average for immediate control action and if I see my 14 day average higher than my 30 by more than 5 mg/dl, then I make some changes.
~I use the meal averages heavily too. I can tell that I'm running much higher for dinner meals than any other meals of the day. Therefore lately I've been working on fine tuning my dinner results.
~Histograms...very very nice. Not sure if your software will have this or not, but it shows how many readings I have between certain values, say 100-120 and 120-140 and it shows a bar chart. This allows me to see how often I'm running 300+ and each time I get that number lower I get happier.
