Cozmo IR Cable

I got my Cozmo today and am overall thrilled. BUT, I was disappointed to find an IR cable wasn't included. I thought it was. I really don't want to spend $50 on one. Has anyone had any luck with a different brand IR cable? And if so, where did you get it? I was hoping to mess around with it tonight, so a local type store (aka not online) would be good.

I got one from my rep when I did the trial. Ask your rep whether he/she can send you one. It can't hurt to ask.

First make sure your computer doesn't already have an IR capability built in.

If not, you can find less expensive cables at other places so you don't have to pay the fifty bucks. I picked up a cable from Tigerdirect.com for about $12 that works fine.

i have an extra cable if you want it...it will save you money since insurance does not cover the cable....its not the cable that is sent out by smiths medical, but its the same type of thing
