It's gernerally frowned upon to post things across multiple forums, especially when you are a new member, and you have posted this in type 1.5 twice and here as well. People will answer it when they know the answer, even without it being on the board 4 times.

i searched quickly and this is what i cameup with....its some type of 21 day diet
http://www.rosedalemetabolics.com/product/rosedale_book.asp
Dr. Rosedale's 21-day diet plan is simple: Just select from the many foods on his "A" list, including "healthy-fat" foods such as avocados, nuts, olives, lobster, crab, shrimp, goat cheese, Cornish game hen, venison, and more. Then gradually add foods from the "B" list, such as steak, lamb chops, fruits, beans, and so on. A 28-day menu plan and more than 100 recipes, such as Dilled Salmon and Fresh Asparagus, Gingery Chicken Soup, Lasagna, Black Bean Wrap, Raspberry Mousse Cake, and French Silk Pie, make eating the Rosedale way deliciously easy.

Are there restrictions on the diet? Like how much you can eat, etc?

I was wondering how lasagna got in there. Any diet where I can eat unlimited lasagna is one I'm willing to try, but I want someone else to try it first!

Hi
Has anyone heard of or read The Rosedale Diet? Any feedback?
thanks,
I did the Rosedale diet in 2005. The first month I lost 18 pounds, and after that it was very slow going, averaging 3 pounds per month. Which is still 36 pounds a year! However I did not eat the low carb bread or tortillas. No deserts. One glass of dry red wine w/lunch and/or dinner.
I walk 1 hr per day, and pump iron for 2 hours every other day. I doubt if weight loss would be this good without the exercise.
I did Not use the recommended supplements except for:
Chromium Picolinate
Biotin
Lipoic Acid
Q-10
L-Carnitine
Multi-Vitamin (no iron)
Vitamin C
There is a typo in the first edition (2004), on page 158:
Chromium Picolinate 400mg should read 400 MICRO-grams.
It's a healthy diet that one can stick with for life. Not a miracle rapid weight loss diet (they never work for long). A little common sense and discretion is needed for a diabetic on insulin.
Rosedale has an eye opening paper floating around the internet about Insulin. Google: "Insulin and it's metabolic effects" (without the quotes).
I'm now permanently on Dr. Bernsteins "The Diabetes Diet", with some recipes from Rosedale thrown in.
No deep fried Mars bars!
