I went to see my doc yesterday and had a full and open discussion about the way my treatment was heading, I was able to talk to him fully about the possibility of LADA/Type 1.5 amongst many other things, the more we talked the more he started to not only listen but repsect what I had to say. The reason being I could talk about things that I had no concept of a few months ago, and in a language he understood - THATS ALL DOWN TO YOU GUYS so I wanted to say a huge thanks for -
Broadening my knowledge
Helping me understand more clearly what I already knew
Responding to my queries
Being a welcoming and friendly bunch
Thanks one and all.

I remember reading on the Diabetes in Control website where it is believed the support forums play a big part in treating diabetes......

I would be lost also. It was THIS forum that I found out about the Insulin Pump. It is also this forum that changed my life and showed me that it is me who should control my diabetes, not the diabetes controling me.
For that I try to help out as many people as I can with what I can.
Thanks !
