Without knowing more about you. Eat more protien, green veggies, and less grains and tubors.

Piozer is the same as our Actos. You are probably taking the insuline twice a day, morning and evenings with meals. 30% of that insulin is fast acting which helps with those meals. Another option change your insulin to a MDI regime so you can cover all meals with insulin.

Yes I take insuline twice a day, before breakfast and dinner.Half hour before meal. But my mid day meal is un-covered,I take Piozer 30 mg(pioglitazone)just after lunch.
Will it not b better if I take insuline"N" and "R" in suitable proportion or----- take "R" few units before lunch.
I did not follow u say take more protein? Will it not increase my BG numbers? What is MDI?

MDI - multiple daily injections. You take a basal insulin (eg Lantus or Levimir) once a day with a flat dose response and the a rapid acting insulin (eg Novorapid) with each meal. It is much recomended over twice a day regimes.

I had used Lantus with fast acting insulin "R",but faced sever hypos many times.Secondly it is very costly here in Pakistan,I can not afford it.Thirdly,I gaind 6 kg during its use in 3 months, and finally, felt some depression, particularly in the evening.
So my diabetalogist,shifted me back to Humulin 70/30.now I m on Dongsulin(China) 70/30.

The typical south Asian diet is rice and pulses, with the pulses supplying all or most of the protein; meat, fish, eggs, and cheese are absent from the diet or make up only a very small portion of it. The pulses (beans, etc) supply the protein but are also very high in carbohydrates. In the West when we say eat more protein we mean eggs, meat, fish etc. which have zero carbohydrates thus lowering the total carbohydrates significantly.
In general, the fewer carbohydrates you eat, the easier it is to kept blood glucose levels low without hypos.
The description given above of MDI is correct, but it omits the carb counting. In MDI the amount of insulin taken before each meal is calculated according to the amount of carbs to be eaten; you have to "count carbs" to know how much insulin to take. For this to work, you have to figure out what is the appropropriate insulin to carb ratio, everybody is different even if they are the same size.
The very long lasting, no peak insulins such as Lantus are the best to use in a MDI program, but lente or ultralente insulins can be used as well. I understand and appreciate the issues that the cost of western patented medication raised.
MDI was first practiced, and practiced successfully, using lente and regular insulins.
I hope this is helpful.
And Welcome to the forum. ;)

If you want to go on using the same insulin you might like to discuss splitting it into 3 doses with your doctor. If the total dose remains the same this may be better than using 2 doses.

I take rice very less, say once in a week.Boiled rice are said to be less harmful?Pulses are good for me,but I never noted rise in BG level after eating any puls ! Proteins are also said to be converted into BG,but with slow rate.
Any how after loving attention of you kind people,I have decided to ask my doctor to manage my insulin: doses on three meal bases,if he did not,I will do it myself.:shakehand
