| | | I play....just not in Vegas. LOL
I know where to keep my money and on Poker is not a gamble I wish to take, even though I think I'd win pretty big doing so. My family on my dad's side is a huge line of card players, so we know when to hold em and know when to fold em.

Blah on that. Give me something with some odds and skills. Not much of a blackjack fan here.

| | | I play texas holdem every friday night with friends. If I get a suite I will be holding a some very low stakes game for us to just have fun. I first need to find a loophole in the law so we can do it though. Maybe we don't play for cash. Maybe someother low value thing, like test strips! haha jk. About the strips. |

The slots are probably some of the worst odds, but I have won 1500$ once on a dollar slot... |

However, it's still about an average max of 1% chance of winning. The best odds are blackjack paying 2 to 1. And that there is only a 2.27% chance of winning.
Keno has the highest odds with about 29% chance. Then comes Big Six (that big wheel you spin with dollar amounts on it.) Slot machines actually have better odds of winning.
You also have to keep in mind payouts on BlackJack and most table blackjacks start at $5 minimum. There are very very few $1 tables left. So, you play a larger amount of money in 2 minutes.

I go to Vegas pretty much every year. I play blackjack quite a bit. Single deck blackjack are your best odds. You also want to play straight blackjack that pays 2 to 1, but avoid insurance. Counting cards can help give an even further edge.
On the strip, as with most games, the minimum bet will be higher. Downtown on Freemont Street you will find much better odds at the slots and lower limits on the tables. Give me a single deck black table with 2 to 5000$ limits and I'm in heaven!
Of course, what time of day you gamble also plays a big role. But that's another story... |

| | | I play hold 'em, I also play Black Jack, I also know a few other poker games, but don't remember the names of them! I'm not into craps because I suck at dice games. I do play $1 slots because they're fun...of course, when you just push a button now, that's not so fun.
I'm not a big gambler because my dad is. I grew up going to Tahoe with him at least once a month, I was left in the video game room and checked on a few times a day...whenever he checked on me, he gave me another $100 bill or two. Once, I came home with more money than he did! LOL
It's funny, I'll play at home with my teenagers anytime, but when I'm playing for "real" money, I get skittish and don't actually play too much. Weird, I know. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
