I am trying to get an estimated head count on the DF Gathering aka Meet and Greet. Therefore, if everyone attending could vote and then if you are bringing others (partners, friends, kids) let us know as well. Even if you are only attending part of the time (say the first 2 days or so) then vote as well.

Here is some info...

The gathering will be Sunday June 24 to Friday June 29 in wonderful Las Vegas Nevada. Hotel choices are up to you. I will be staying at the Orleands for the entire trip just off the strip. Events to do during the trip are unsure at this time and will be decided closer to the event and once we know who will all be attending.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can make it this year. I have a work conflict at that time. Stupid work.

I will be there in May over the memorial day weekend for a "family" thing. I can do some leg work for you all if required!

I wouldn't miss it. Looking forward to it. I probably won't be there the whole week though. I am purchasing my flight and room this week. Are you going to bring your clubs kevin? I think you said no but will ask again anyhow

I have to see if my dad has any club carriers anymore. That may be the key to bringing them. That and golf is just so darn expensive.

I'll be there! Don't know if the kids and hubby are coming (I'm assuming they are...), we'll have to see what the tax return looks like. As soon as that's in the bank, we'll be booking our flight and hotel. We'll probably stay at Circus Circus because of all the kid activities they have there.

That's the week before my wife gets her vacation rejuvinated. So I seriously doubt it, never know stuff happens. Really to bad some of my sister's kids live there and I have not seen them for almost 40 years.

I an new to this forum and since I had my Pancrease removed last August a new diabetic.

I must have missed the begining of this thread and am wondering what is happening In Vegas.

Being newly diabetic I am looking for information and am wondering if this Vegas event would be a good source of information.

Pretty much this is just a gathering of people on here. I know some people take a yearly or bi-yearly vacation trip. I for one haven't had one in 4 years by the time this happens. It is simply a gathering of people on here getting together to have fun and meet in person. Diabetic talk most likely will happen, but it's a trip to "get away from diabetes" in a sense. Just one to have fun hopefully. If you want more information you may PM me at any time.

duh,if i would have taken the time to read things,its been awhile and the last dates i saw was may.i will really look into going with it being june,if my son does'nt have summer school and the sitter situation.

Yes, June 24-29. Las Vegas, NV. I will be staying at the Orleans (great rates there with lots to do.) Hopefully I can start planning soon and I may even have some free gifts up my sleeve for those that attend.

My sisters and soon to be brother in laws bachelore and bachelorette parties are 22-26th in Vegas. Talk about timing!
