Got to meet the Young Jedi Today

Well Kevin drove up to meet me today. Met me at work, then we went and grabbed some lunch. It was good meeting you Kevin, will need to do it again some time.

On A side note, did I give tell you to go East Bound instead of West Bound? I thought of that as I was getting on the freeway and went to call you and remembered you called my office number and not my cell, so I did not have your number.

I am so sorry if I did

lol that's too good! How often do you see a group of girls taking pictures of themselves, striking poses? When I went to Reno a couple of weeks ago, right when I pulled up to the hotel, someones young teenage daughters/friends jumped out of the car ahead of us, made sure the nice car was in the shot behind them as the center blonde girl wrapped both of her friends necks with both her arms, showed a pearly white smile, a false mood that she for sure didn't truely have coming out of what appeared to be a long road trip, and snapped a picture of them of all them.

After realizing I am an old dirty man, the moment struck me as socially extremely bizzare. If I sever saw men doing that I would just assume they are gay.

Sorry I just had to share that lol.

How was it? Is this the first ever meet and greet off the DF's? One small step for diabetics, one giant leap for pancreatic challenged computer lovers.

It was nice meeting you too Jim. Yes, you did tell me to go the wrong way, but I figured it out by the signs. I'm use to Cincinnati traffic and well, all I can say is they purposefully get you lost down here. Maybe it's so they can consider me a tourist in the city? LOL

I will say Jim's job is much harder than mine. I have it easy, but I did come to one conclusion. Jim only gets the initial part of a police call. I generally get the entire call and I always get the final outcome. So Jim will have better police call stories than I will, but I'll have better arrest stories.

I do hope to meet you again and hopefully we can do something at Kings Island this summer. I'll keep you (and others on here) updated if I happen to get any BOGO (Buy One Get One) coupons at work. We generally do, just kinda random when they come in and are valid.

Funny thing is, I have NEVER seen that movie. Maybe I should sometime.

As for pictures, I think we'll have to do something with a female present to take pictures of us. LOL

I still don't get how I look like your son. LOL

Yes, one of Jim's coworkers thought I was 14 or 15 and possibly one of Jim's kids.

Oh, and wow Jim, you have some very cute female coworkers. Maybe I need to get to our Communication Center down here and meet some females there.

Kevin,

Go get the movie. I absolutely love it, and my kids love it too. It's a wonderful Mel Brooks spoof on the first Star Wars movie.

Good for you guys!

It's always nice to meet people in person that you corrospond or chat with online. I "met" Nancy (notme) 4 years ago on another board and we became fast buddies. I've flown out to visit her in CA the last 3 years.........I'm waiting for her to fly East to visit me! We also met up with another online friend who was living in CA......retired cop who is just as crazy in person as he is online! But we have a ton of laughs!
