****... im all booked up now tho my mate who is comin ova mite be interested!! :p

When's the next one?!
Hehe, well after my sterling performance at the party, I'm not sure we're having one again!

Drinking started at around 3pm. Then my housemate put up some fairy lights he stole from a bar when he was in Bangkok, and I started demanding we put up a Christmas tree. We actually found one in the cupboard under the stairs so we decorated it with Stella bottles, a Burberry cap I bought for a joke, cake wrappers and various kitchen utensils. Oh, and piece of Semtex fashioned in the shape of a penis.

It gets rather blurry after this point. I was passed out by 10pm (don't mix weed and absinthe, everyone!) and got woken up about half an hour later by something very loud and blonde shouting in my ear and pouring water over me, which turned out to be my girlfriend, who apparently I'd phoned an hour ago to tell her that the moon was eclipsing and it was making me puke.

I have no recollection of this phone call or indeed the moon. She was also supposedly in a different city at the time and got a taxi all the way down to my place because she got worried.

**** good job she woke me though. It did take 5 minutes to rouse me (according to her) but once I was up she forced me to test my BG and I was hovering around the 4.2 mark with no food in my stomach and a lot of booze in my system. Think I had a **** of a lucky escape there, which is certainly a sobering thought.

So yeah, you missed a great house party, but I think as a forum meet-up it would have been disappointing, since on balance it looks like I didn't really participate that much...
