I'm from Ohio and will be planning a little greeting at Kings Island sometime this summer. The date is totally up in the air for now and I'm looking at late July/early August but I'm game for anytime. I think the big decision does anyone want to plan a date now, wait till later, or wait and see if I get discount tickets through work. Generally I can get buy one get one free admission tickets at work (so $45 for two) but I only get those about 30 days in advance and they have select dates to use them. The other option is to just plan it now and have everyone buy the online tickets ($30 each compared to $45 at the gate.)

Roughly 5 hours for you without stopping. Then there are numerous hotels in the area if you want to stay the night. They have quite a few hotels in the area for overnighters.

I live in NC but I could do a trip to Tennessee in roughly 3 hours. If you get something together, let me know.
Distance and $$$ is why I'm not going to Vegas.
