Viva Las Vegas!

Who is excited about Vegas? I am SO looking forward to it.

Kev we got upgraded to Royal Links with no fee since they are doing work at Desert Pines and that course will be closed that day .

So far a Sunday Dinner is planned, and a golf game. Other things have been floating around but would you like to lock in other things?

I'd like to get the first episode of DiaLife filmed there and for sure get a group photo if there are no objections.

I have been lagging on getting shirts but will do my best to get them done before the trip.

I didn't even think of shirts. Awesome idea. Let me know if you need any help with those. The countdown is upon us, 24 more days till I'll be there.

Again, for those arriving, I'll be arriving shortly before 6 pm. So by the time I'm out of the airport and to my hotel it'll be about 6:30 and then we can get together for a casual dinner.

That rocks on the golf Brian. We still on for sharing clubs or something like that? I'll bring balls and my glove, but don't want to bring clubs if I can avoid that (my family has a 100% damage rate for transporting clubs through the airlines, lol.)

For those looking for events check this thread....Las Vegas Events

I will be getting that Las Vegas Powerpass that I talked about and using it on Tuesday (26th) and Wednesday (27th.) So if anyone wants to meet during any of those let me know. Do keep in mind, I do want some Kevin time as well.

Most golf courses don't let you share bags, so you'll probably need to rent clubs or bring an extra bag to put some clubs into...

Yay, Vegas, I'm excited! First vacation of the year.

I would love to lock you guys down (and anyone else who's gonna be there) for something on the Monday or Tuesday since I can't make the Sunday evening dinner... although I have to warn you I can't really do anything huge or an expensive show or anything like that. At the very least, if nothing works, I will crash your rooms for an hour for a group photo!

Brian, what's DiaLife?

Kev, we still get the free rentals. The lady on the phone said RL has a better selection of clubs to choose from as well. I will be bringing my own sticks.

Jen, Dialife is the web version of DLife, only it will be awesome . If people that are going can think of a diabetic topic to talk about it would work out really, really well!

YEAH VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be bringing a guitar too. Concert in my room one night.

I hope we can make this an annual event!

lol, that came out wrong. I blame the hypo. Must be something about this thread, I'm having another one right now. Or maybe I just visit DF when I'm hypo. Speaking of which, I hit my lowest last night, 29, felt the paralysis-like symptoms for the first time, kinda scary. Ok wait, I didn't "feel" the paralysis, I "experienced" the paralysis... Ok, now I'm babbling, somebody stop me, where's the suga?

The camera loves you. And Kevin. I never seen Dlife either lol but from what I have read it sounds like it started out 'interesting' but just went downhill from there. I hope you both can get over your fears and let me make you the stars you are.

I think DLife is still very interesting at times. Depends what the topic is and who are the guests. The have had Dr. Bernstein on the show before.

Hey if you have a Diabetesforums.com t-shirt bring it.
We need to get a list together of who is going and information about those people.
Where they are staying and maybe cell phone numbers. But please if you know you are going and to keep this right do not post where you are staying or your cell number here. Just your name. Then we can PM or email each other with the other info to keep it out of the open forums and only what you feel comfortable giving out.

They're really saying "I love you"

Carwy, long time no talk. I think I talked to T about it but will run it by him again. I'll [try to] get shirts with diabetes forums and diabuddies (Mainly DF prominant) made.

What day are you and Dew coming again? The Monday?

I wish you were going Michael . I wish everyone here was.

Yes it has been a long time no talk. I took a break for a while to go to school and am now out for the summer.

Hey Brian,

We'll be there on the 24th (Sunday). I can't wait! It will be so much fun to meet everyone & get together for snacks, talks and fun!

Bring on the cameras! I'm not scared at all....and Jen, the camera does Love you, & it will love anyone else who dares to be in the spotlight for a few. Just think (ok, so this may be stretching, but)...we may even be lucky enough to get our segment aired on DLife TV!

Again, I'm definitely looking forward to the meet & greet! Carwy & I will be wearing our bracelets (& t-shirts)!

That would be cool! Please keep us posted. We can exchange phone numbers privately so we can call one another about times/events, etc.
