And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I have my list written out of everything to take. I don't have luggage yet (using my parents which I have to pickup from my grandma.) I'll be packing Friday evening.

I was looking at weather.com today and their temps pretty much are online with your temps in your signature except for one day. Weather.com says there is a 60% chance of rain on Wednesday. Can we say extreme heat then? (heat + humidity = crappy feeling)

This hot weather has to be coming from CA. We are in the high 80's low 90's here.

I leave tomorrow for Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ironically, I am listening to Sheryl Crow's leaving las vegas right now lol.

YEAH VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kev - Can you do an excel like thing for the group events while we are there? Monday night its a party in my suite - poker, Music, shirts, talking, having a good time. I'll get food and drinks too. At any point anyone is welcome at my room. All I care about is having a bed. Sunday dinner is on me for those that can make it @ the cheese cake factory.

And I leave this post with 311's Feels So Good

Brion, I'll have my laptop so I can do anything. I just won't be able to print anything. But I do see my hotel has a business center where you can rent a computer and print from there. Most likely I will be renting it at least twice just to check on here, check my email, etc.

Sounds good kev. I just haven't seen anything published, except for everyone posting about what they think they want to do.

Also, the first episode of DiaLife will be filmed at Vegas. If anyone is interested in doing a segment on anything diabetes related please, please do.

Neener neener, I'm already packed! I left Washington yesterday and got into California this afternoon!

It's not as hot here as it normally is for the first day of summer. Only 74F. When I left home it was 78F in Seattle!

However, on a good note...as soon as I got off the bus in Hayward and breathed in air that wasn't wet, I could breathe!

I'll have my laptop with me and have internet access at my hotel. If people need to check email or anything, no problem.

So, Brian, I'll be getting to my hotel around 3ish. I'll either walk or ride the deuce to your hotel. I'll ring you when I leave my hotel, cool? Should I bring anything with me? What's your dress code?!? I only brought summer clothes and one nice outfit...

We've been sitting just under 100 degrees out here, so I don't think it will feel too much different for me, phew!

Now that my hellish week is over, I can actually think about Vegas. Normally I'm a planning freak, but this time I've let it get down to the wire!!! Too much to do before I leave and no time to do it. Most likely I'll be packing Sat night for an 8am start on Sunday, lol.

So is there any dinner planned for the Monday night? Or is that just the par-tay! If not, no problem, I will stop by Brian's room for poker and drinkies! Any idea what time you're thinking? From x:xxpm to whenever, lol?

I'm in Vegas....and so far have seen Brian, Dew, Car, and Rikki. Let's just say Brian has a wild side that doesn't show up here, but with respect to him, I won't tell too many stories

As for the rest, gosh, a bunch of babies, they wine about the heat. LOL. I'm kiddin guys and gals. Yesterday was about 105 degrees at it's peak and to me, it felt great. Dry heat, I love it. Of course, I don't mind wet heat either if I'm in a Sauna.

I will be posting pictures at the end of the trip. I'll have to "remove" a few so they can be safe to upload then see if Tony can do a massive upload of them at once. Then I'll have the full set of pictures on my website unedited.

Well, breakfast calls.
