All the meets are too far for ct member's...wish there was a meet and greet somewhere in CT.

Was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 1986.
My basal rates:
12am-8am 1.8 units
8am-4pm 1.6 units
4pm-8pm 1.4 units
Bolus for the following:
Carb ratio is 1 unit for every 15 grams of carbs (allowed 100 grams of carbs per meal)
Blood sugar ratio is 1 unit for every 20 points of blood sugar (80-100=1 unit) and so on
Daily vitamins:
Calcium 2x -- Vitamin C 1x -- Vitamin E 2x -- Prenatal 1x

Just wanted to give an update...
Some circumstances have arisen that are beyond anyone's control. As a result, I decided that the Vegas Meet & Greet for 2008 should probably be scrapped. If anyone would like to turn it into a mini meet & greet, please post here & I'll see what can be worked out to make it happen. Sorry for any inconvenience.

If anyone is down for a minigreet; I'll be working at BSM Camp and that is the perfect week to leave living in the woods and going to get pampered. The 2 meet and greet ideas were scrapped for many reasons, so it's just 1 big with mini greets. |
