I am about 30 miles west of Fort Worth.

Those of us who live west of the 97th meridian do not use Dallas as a datum. After all Fort Worth is where the "West begins".

MAY 23 sounds great!

Bill?
Mark?
Ed?
Raven-gypsy?

ANYONE ELSE??!! Eddy - it would be nice if you could come, but I know how busy you are.

It would be fun if ANY other Dfers were coming to DFW . . .

What ideas are out there? Dave & Busters? Bowling, Horse back riding? Bungee jumping? I don't have a large house, but we have a good sized backyard! My husband loves to cook out; brisket is one of his favorites.

Oh, if you come here -- you'll have a happy Springer Spaniel and a few kitties in your midst!

More ideas?

Ed, Well, then come see it! I know it's not as easy as that, but you are certainly invited.

BBQ sounds great ! I pass on the bungee jumping stuff too, I'm a parachutist. We'll do some horsebackriding in the Hill Country later that week, so don't worry about it.

We are either staying with friends in Denton, Ft. Worth or Mesquite. Haven't made up my mind yet. I rented a nice Dodge Charger, so whereever we hook up we're there in no time (as long as the PD or the DPS doesn't pull me over... LOL).

So far, so good!

Definitely (right?!):
Mark
Mike
Charlotte
Moi (me)

Please bring spouse/kid(s) too! My husband will be thrilled to cook a brisket! It happens to be the day before my birthday, so it will be extra special. My dad is a T2, so he's coming too. (And, Mike, we live in Southlake, closer to Ft. Worth and Denton than Mesquite.) But don't expect a "typical" Southlake house -- we are in a small, "regular" house! And I'm thinking around 2pm or whatever works for you guys. Bring swimming clothes if interested ok? Kid's would love swimming . . .

Where is Bill?! PERKDOUG? Ed - ?

Alura, do you live closeby?
