Frankie and Johnny aren't sweethearts

We're just meeting for coffee.

If there's anyone else in Halifax tomorrow, pm us.

I'll be testing my eyes out on a solo 4.5 hr drive there, apply for my US passport in a five minute (hopefully) meeting, and meet Frank at Tim's near the Chickenburger. Then I get to really test my eye strength for the drive home

Frank, I'll call you when I'm out of the consolate. They are supposed to be punctual, but you never know.

That is excellent news John. Good luck with the trip and be careful.
Any time you get a chance to meet a forum member, try your best to make it happen. I've made some wonderful friends here who I have met in real life and I have no regrets.

So we had a quick 90 minute coffee break Time flys when you're having fun It's good to actually "discuss" issues with someone struggling with similar issues with a similar perspective. It made me yearn for a real, dedicated support group.

It was nice to relax for a bit though. It was a 13hr day for me, but the driving was easy. I cruised between 122 and 130 km/hr all the way. I think more cars passed me than I passed though. The eyes held out fine. They didn't get overly tired at all, just stayed their normal tired and wonky selves.

Sugars were fine on the way down, after correcting my unexpected morning high of 13.6. But going home they shot up. It wasn't the food because I hardly ate any, so the driving (inactivity) probably did it. Waiting to see if my correction works. The **** set may have failed.

Sorry Mike, neither of us are into pics
