Hint hint.

Goodluck Carwry,

I checked out your webpage...Thanks for participating. Where's Longmont? When's the ride and how far do you plan on riding?

I Hope you get plenty of donations. The cost to ride here in PA will not fit into my budget so I volunteer to help others who will help me. I am starting a team for the Step Out Program at the Pittsburgh Zoo Sept 28th. I'm not sure how to post the link to the team page.

It's by Boulder/Denver in Colorado. I'm doing the 12 mile this year and then more miles next year.

I thought maybe you'd be riding the Sunday too. I went back and checked Longmont, CO. Looks like there still some time to get more donations. Thanks again. Dave

Hey Tony,

Looks like the Longmont Co ride is August 23rd. Still some time to help out Carwy.

Carwy,

Just 23 days left til you ride! How's the training going? I just realized the Diabetes Expo in Pittsburgh is the same day as your ride. I plan on going early with the hopes of picking up some free stuff as well as getting a peek at the new Animas Ping.

I will be heading to the Expo on the 23rd too. I forgot about Animas being there, lol. I will be getting the ping by the end of the month, hopefully before the Expo. Though if not, then I can play down there.

Hi Kim,

My wife daughter and I were just up in Franklin last weekend. We went to the player piano museum on main street and looked around for "Taste of Franklin" stuff. Then We went to Titusville (I went to Pitt there), we're trying to plan a train ride for the fall follage. When we got home we found out we sold our house (we close Aug 25th) so we might not be able to go to the Expo.

I was at a Taste of Franklin also. Funny huh?

How is the house thing going? Hopefully good but that you can still go on Saturday. Venango County got buses to go so people don't have to drive down. That last I heard they needed 20 more people to fill up the second bus. We have the largest rate of diabetics in the state and this is one way the task force in this area is trying to help people understand it better.

I have to remember to take my youngest on the train. We do have some beautiful leaves in the fall. Hopefully it will be better this year than last. If you like festivals, we have one in October called Applefest. Though town is just beautiful and full. The only problem is parking but they have several designated sites and bus people down and back throughout the day. It is the first weekend in October.

We used to camp in Titusville. This is the first year we haven't camped in forever but 13 since a permanent site. It is called Oil Creek Family Campground. If you went through Franklin to get to Titusville, you probably passed the sign.

Kim
