I am new here. I have had type 2 for about 6 years.
I had let it get out of control and now i have neuropathy in my feet.
The dr. put me on insulin today and i havnt given my first injection. kind of afraid to try it.
My a1c was 10.7 at his office today.

Hi there

Welcome to the forum. It's a brill place to get advice.

Don't be scared about doing your jab, most of us on here have to do them. You hardly feel the needle go in most of the time. If your doing it in your stomach or leg get a big chunk to skin and hold it tightly whilst you inject.

Good luck

Welcome to Diabetes Forums.

I am a bit surprised your doctor did not have you do an injection in his office to give you instruction, before he sent you on your way.

It is quite easy and I doubt you will feel a thing.

Welcome to the forums.
