Free One Touch Ultra 2

You can get a free Ultra 2, I got this from one of the freebie sites that I get the newsletter from.

https://www.lifescan.com/products/simplestart/

Just fill out the form and when it asks the name of the meter you use the most, choose one that is not a Lifescan and they will ask if you want a free Ultra 2 sent to you.

So did I. I have had them send me one free one, from an offer with Animas. I will see if they will send me yet another free one. I have been thinking of switching meters again and going with this meter.

We will see.

I wonder if pumpers get that offer.

Did anyone happen to see the date on there? It said Sept 15, 2006 so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I just did it for my neighbor and it only offered the Ultra 2. Now when I did it, it allowed for the Ultrasmart or Ultra 2. I guess it's all in the way you answer some of the questions.

I only got offered the Ultra 2, I did it for myself and then another for my niece. She needs an extra so that she can leave it at the nurse's office at school.

I did it and they offered a choice of the two...I went for the ultra-smart. I'd love to see if those things are really that awesome. Thanks for the tip!

I already use the One Touch Ultra, and I love it, so this will be cool!

I also posted this deal in the "Freebies for You and Me" thread in the Chit-Chat forum a few hours before this.

Thanks. I also got the choice of 2. I went with the Ultra 2 simply because it's smaller. I can use a backup meter and it's a good opportunity to give the Ultra a shot, I never used anything other then my freestyle.

That's great. I posted my free meter info on the monitoring forum, because that is where I look when I want information on meters. As I am sure many others do too.

I will have to check out the Chit Chat forum.

Cool. I just did it also - i got to choose and opted for the ultrasmart.
I still find it disgusting how much the test strips cost here. I am used to paying $12 for a box of 100 strips at home in Australia.

I just noticed you have Medco. They cover test strips with a script.
