| | | I am a member of the One Touch Gold club (LOL, whatever it is). I have not received any emails about a recall on the monitor. I do know, like lilituc said, they are seeing counterfeit strips out there.

Around November 2004, I won a free "OneTouch Ultrasmart" with two-hundred test strips. I was so happy, because at the time I didn't have insurance, and was gobbling down strips at a rate of 300+ per month. |

| | Nope Jason but I keep trying. LOL.
I think my world would be over if they recalled my UltraSmart and I had to go to another brand.

| | | I won a set of Rubbermaid food storage containers several years ago. A big box showed up one day and I had no clue why. I'd much rather win the meter & strips.

| | | Do you still have the Rubbermaid containers? I sure don't have the strips anymore. (hee hee) I think it's neat that they actually give out prizes. A lot of contests just seem to fade away to 'winners' that are non-existent.
I think the meter/test strips were the second prize at the time, and they gave out a total of 10 to winners. They actually mailed a letter stating that I'd won, and if I wanted the strips, to respond with a postcard that was in the envelope. After returning the postcard, about 3 weeks later, the test strips arrived. I guess they didn't want to mail something so valuable out to someone who aimlessly applied for the contest. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
