Ascensia Breeze

I tried the new Ascensia Breeze that was delivered to my door, this morning. The control test was "normal", then I tested myself about an hour ago....it was 131. I just now tested with my Ascensia Contour, and it came up 181. The with the same drop of blood, I tested the Breeze...it was 118! Big difference!
The Breeze is at least twice the size of my Contour, bulky and difficult to handle. It seems to me there are just too many steps. My Contour is much easier. Bur, I am now wondering about the differences and if that is why I have been so low during the day lately. I test with the Contour I keep at home, in the mornings, and with my "carry along" Contour, during the day. (Just tested with it and was 188) I think I will stick with my Contours.

For a frequent tester, such as yourself, the Bayer meters are just slow (15 seconds) for a response. One of them (can't recall if it's the Breeze or the Contour) even requires a lot of blood -- it took me 4 attempts to get one reading. The batteries were probably removed from the sample Bayer meter and used in my car's keyless entry remote control.
