My bd test supply's

I just call bd and found out on Dec 31, 07 They will not sell test strips. They are not sell meters after Sept 06. No more Monitoring supply's

Yeah. BD announced back in Sept. they were getting out of the glucose monitoring market. I believe they are trying to get other strip manufacturers to still make the strips, but that will only last for a year or so (thus Dec 07!).

Time to research new meters!

I am under the understanding that Meditronics will be supplying strips for BD meters used with their insulin pumps.

You may want to contact them and see if you can work something out.

The strips will be made till December 31, 2007. After that, you are SOL unless MM buys the meter part of the BD company. As of right now, there is no plans for that to happen and no confirmations of who MM will go with for a meter to link to their pumps in replacement times and for strips.
