MiniLink and Tegaderm HP vs. non-HP

The MiniMed store offers the Tegaderm 4" x 4 1/2" 9546HP (Holding Power) tape for $115.00 for a 50 ct. box. The local pharmacist mentioned other 3m Tegaderm tape, in a similar size without "Holding Power" for a whole lot less. Has anyone tried the non-HP Tegaderm tape and compared it to the Tegaderm HP? Is the Tegaderm HP tape worth the extra bucks?

Something else that I've seen recommended a lot for CGMS coverage is Opsite Flexifix. You can get a roll of it on the internet for $20-30 that is 11 yards long and 2" or 4" wide. I just got some, but haven't tried it yet.

cheers,
j

We use the HP's. They work better than the regular ones. We have a pool and had a heck of a time keeping my son's site in. We never had a problem since we used the HP's. Our insurance covers these 100%.
