anyone herd anything more about this watch ,was said to be released for pblic this year?

Never heard of it. Did you email the company? I think it would not work well for someone exercising or doing dirty work.

I know I would love to have one. You reminded me to check into it again! It's supposed to give you a continual BG (sorry, I usually say BS) reading,right? -- how awesome!

I asked about it at the doctors and they said it was a scam, terrible.

The GlucoWatch was similar and the device is no longer being sold. I was going to try to get one but the problem was the device was very inaccurate, the sensors were MUCH higher than the price which they first estimated they would be, and it was very easy to break the connection to the device, meaning you would get less use out of each sensor than promised.

I heard a man years ago say that he had bought stock in a company that was developing a glucose monitor/watch. I'm wondering if they took investors money and left town? I haven't heard anything else about it. I think the idea was it measured some type of persperation from the skin?
