| | | Meter code numbers.... Am I the only one who, upon opening a new box of strips, desperately hopes for a different number? I use the one touch meters, and I've had nothing but 9's ALL summer long....I opened a new box of 100 stips earlier this week and I was so hoping for a different number...but I got 9 again!
In May I had some 1's, which was a first.
I know this is silly, but there it is.

| | I'm the same way. I know it's stupid, and it really is pretty much nothing, but it's just one of those things. BTW, I just got 2 boxes of 9s a few weeks ago. This was after several boxes of 23s. Never had 9s before...
Exciting lives we lead.

| | | How funny! I never pay that much attention to what the #'s are...i'd actually like to have more of the same #'s so I wouldn't have to change the stupid codes..I use the one-touch as well. I'm on code 22 right now, had code 16 before...I don't think i've ever had the same code on 2 months of strips since i've been using them (a year).

| | | I just started a new batch and was "upgraded." I think for at least the last year I had been on 8's and this new box finally was a 9. I think when coding goes away on Lifescan meters that I might actually cry.

I understand that! I actually ENJOY opening a new box to see what the number will be...like it actually matters!

| | | Is anyone into numerology? Maybe all this means something. I usually get 24's and 25's.

| | | My Freestyle strips are a different code EVERY month! For once, I wish I would get a new code! On the other hand, I just got a month of One Touch strips, to try out the Ultra 2 for a bit, maybe I will have some same code consistency!
