Yeeeehaaa!

I was approved for the initial cost of the CGMS, plus 3 months of supplies, after which I'll need to submit another letter. Oh well, I'm thrilled!

Congrats.

I'm in a bind with this issue--I am fairly certain I could win an appeal to get my current insurance to pay for my startup costs for CGMS and the first set of Sensors like you did, but I'm going to be quitting my current job here shortly, and I get the feeling they (the insurance company) won't really feel compelled to deal with me after that. Sigh.

Stick it to them, FG. I'll live vicariously through you.

My feelings are, I can make 30 sensors last me till graduation in May if I need to. I can buy 1 more box if I need to too. Then, in May, when I graduate and get kicked off my insurance, I can tell new insurance, "My current insurance is paying for them!"
