Boy what interesting lives we lead, waiting for the mailman or UPS/Fedex to deliver us a package of diabetes stuff. |
Maybe the Tarrant county ones are starting to get past Dallas?

| | | The Flash seems bigger to me. The Lite seems smaller and weighs less. It's also faster to me. No coding is nice. I've been using it exclusively for about 5 months or so now and love it.

| | | They're almost the same size. The Lite is lighter- probably because it takes one less battery. The backlight is a little different. It has a whiter hue to it on the Lite, versus a green one on the Flash. The Lite's font is WAY bigger. The Lite doesn't display time all the time- you need to press the C button to get the time. The Lite has a larger memory and you can scroll backwards and forwards. The Lite has 7, 14, and 30 day averages versus just 14 on the Flash. The Lite has a yellow strip port to make it easier to aim. The Lite also added rubber grips.
And those are the differences. Overall, I loved my Flash and the Lite is a great improvement on it. |

If you click the link, it won't work. You have to actually copy paste it in your browser's address bar. They probably did this to prevent it from being posted on forums like this. :P

| | | So which one did you sign up for and why?
My daily meter is an Aviva.
I can't decide whether to get theLite or try the Freedom.
Does anyone know what the differences are?
Mark

| | | I got the Lite. I just know that the Freedom is much larger, has a larger display and I'm not sure the Freedom has the strip port light. Other than that, I think they are pretty much the same and if you are <90 years old or think a smaller meter is better than a larger meter, you should probably get the Lite.
