Anyone using a TrackEase meter?

I just inherited a TrackEase meter and 1,100 test strips that expire in May of 2009. I normally use a OneTouch Ultra meter, but if the TrackEase is just as accurate, I might as well use it for awhile. Any opinions on this meter?

I have a TrackEase

Mine was given to me by my doctor new in July. My sister mentioned to her doctor I was sick with diabetes, Bells Palsy, an ulcer. He gave her a Bayer Contour for me. At first I just used the trackease.. Then I tried the Contour and it was lower. Each day I tried it when I got up and it was lower. Went back to the TrackEase and it was as much as 50 points higher. I went to the doctor and the Contour was in line with their monitor.
That scared me. I have another now One Touch Ultra and it is in line with the Contour. The lady at my drugstore who is their diabetes "expert" uses the TrackEase and says she loves it.
I just do not know. It is just little scary I might have been using only the TrackEase and trying to lower my glucose level too much. Plus, it took more blood than the Contour by Bayer.
Please post if you decide you like it.

I've been using the TrackEase for the past several days and checking it against the OneTouch Ultra 2. The results are similar, within 10 points usually. I typically can't get closer than that with two tests from the same meter of any kind. It may be that you just happened to get a hold of a bad TrackEase meter.
