No 2 hr warm up?

My sensor just ended, so without even disconnecting the transmitter I just went to the menu and started a new sensor. Right away it asked me for a bg reading, and 15 minutes later I started getting results from the sensor. What happened to the 2 hr warm up? Is it gonna work the whole 3 days now? The sensor age shows at 0 right now.

Yes. That's how you re-use the sensor for more time. It works for me. There have been a couple of times where it didn't last as long as I'd hoped (i.e. started getting wacky readings after x amount of days), but for the most part, it does work & lasts me at least 7 - 9 days.

The transmitter has a memory, you don't have to wait 2 hours for anything until the memory gets cleared by disconnecting the transmitter or removing the sensor. This includes selecting anything under the "Sensor start" submenu of the sensor menu. And yes, you can wear it the full 3 days without waiting 2 hours.

This is where the mysterious Isig reading and "wetting" period come into play...who knows what "conditions" need to be met before a Sensor thinks it is ready.
