HbA1c home testing

Does anybody make a monitor to test your own hba1c at home?That would be handy.Did see one time testing equip. but havent seen a regular monitor.Thanks for any info.

I think there was a monitor that has been removed from the market - I don't know why.

I've done the at home test and the result was similar to the lab. It took a long time to get the results.

I bought one from Amazon.com this spring. Don't recall the name, but it shouldn't be too hard too find on the site.

UniMed, Inc. - Diabetes Testing Equipment; Metrika A1cNow Cholestech GDX, Bayer DCA 2000, Diabetes Test is this what you have???Check it out,just ten test though,be nice find something that worked like our blood sugar monitors.

That's the only one out there anymore. The problem is they are so expensive because they do alot more analyzing than just a BG meter. They also take almost 10 minutes to give you a result back due to the process it takes to get an A1C.

HbA1c Testing Products and Supplies from Hanson Medical Systems I found these,kinda spendy but man would be nice to have one.
