Hey -- Stu!!!

Your post Accu-Chek, I'll probably get one over the week-end, yet another toy the manufacturers have provided for us.

Allow me to digress for a moment Stu, you've got to watch this US documentary, Monday night coming, channel 5- 9.00 PM, WEIRD!!! you'll rather have Diabetes than this, it'll blow your mind, tell us what you think, owing to the TV regions, you may have seen it already, you guy up there always get things first, I wonder why?

got the meter

Ok - I got the new meter yesterday and it is pretty large and bulky! It makes the ascensia contour look like a baby. I tried it and I agree that the lancing device is very good and it did not hurt as much as my old one. I like that it lights up. I'll try it for awhile but the size and weight are not making me love it ... yet.
BTW, they sent me a holster but it does not fit the new model. Guess it was designed for the older one ( blue and silver) .
I love the compact size of that new coloured meter ( forget the name but comes in green, pink, silver, or black) but it needs coding so also a drawback. I am hoping to find my dream meter for travelling this summer.
What is the lightest, smallest reliable meter out there???

Just got the new meter. The case is terrible- soft sided with an elastic strap to close. The meter fits in so tight that when it's closed many times the button presses and wastes a strip.
The old meter had a hard side zip up case- much better. Unfortunately the new one is too large for the old case.

I added a couple stitches to my breeze 2 case and not only does it work far better than that strap case that came with it I have a place for my multiclix
