I think my neighborhood's driver lives down the street tho, and does our deliveries when he stops at home for dinner... hmmm.. we shall see.

I haven't gotten any email or UPS notification and I ordered it the moment I saw this post. Hmm. must have made the bottom of that shipping list after all the other DF members and will be the one to get it in 4-6 weeks.

I just plugged it in and uploaded right now. It is faster than the paradigm link meter, even though that was also USB.

It is great, being able to upload while still sitting in my chair, and not have to fuss with any wires, or move my pump.

Thanks again Funnygrl for posting this... I don't know that I would have noticed the link!

If you are a vista eser, it is a slight hassle to get it going, but I was able to. Still messing with it to see what it does.
How did you get it going? I use Vista and can't get it to install.

Minimed claims it does not work with vista

I called the 24/7 help line and they claim the CareLink USB does not work with Windows Vista. I kind of find it odd that they would come out with a product that can't operate on a current windows platform. So if anyone with Vista gets it to work, please share with me how you did it.

Now, go to either your desktop or your start menu/prigrans/internet explorer, right click, and select "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR". You will go through the remaining steps o set up as outlined, fairly easy, the above is only done ONCE on your computer, and you will get the option to re-enable your security options and sign out as administrator. After that, you just log in, select upload, confirm your device and go through the upload wait of about 20 seconds or less and get your reports, you can print them easily for your doc to have.

I found it to be very fast compared to the cable way of doing things. Plus I liked how I cold just sit at my computer and leave my pump on my belt. The program put it in suspend and took it out of suspend as well. I can see myself using care links much more than I did before.

I want mine ! but I need to pay my supply bill first so that they will send it. D@mn truck broke down this week and it costs over 250 to fix, so no money left for MM .
Being an adult really sucks sometimes,LOL

Guess I'll just hook up my cable, meter and pump combo and upload,LOL I want a new gaget!

All you have to do if you want this faster is put it on the same order as your pump supplies or sensors and it will be sent in the same package. I got mine in 2 days along with the sensors I ordered. 2 day shipping is free as long as your order something else.

The design of this device seems pretty sleek for something made by a pump company. The packaging it came in looked like it was designed by apple.. well not quite.. but close.

I didn't order with pump supplies and mine was shipped three day for free.

It does look sleek and the device itself is very sleek looking. Heck took me awhile just to get to the usb connection. Eeesh....it fits tight!
