| | | My doc is connected to the internet in his patient rooms. I can just bring up my latest readings on his computer. It is a nice system. So far I am very happy. |

So far I am very happy. | I've heard of docs who download all your stuff right there, I could have used this when I was a teen it would have kept me much more honest. The graph will show what the graph will show! Right down to the average number of tests per day! My current doc still asks for stuff to be faxed, I wish she'd do email--it'd be so much simpler.

| | | Every time I visit my endo, the nurse downloads all my pump information to his server. He reviews it before coming into the examining room and that is the start of our conversation. |

| | | In regard to previous conversations out there... Doctors can use Carelink PRO, which is a locally installed system, as opposed to web based. It also is customized to handle multiple patients... It was cool to see the differences and similarities...
It was also pretty funny to see the computer desk with every cable/upload device on one computer... all tagged with their brand name...

It's also $70 . I'm trying to contact my doc's office to see if, like w/those extra meters piling up in the storage room, he has an extra bit of software ... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
