| | Very good Peter .... I think. Those numbers (of course) don't match anything I recognize in the US. Are they also /18 from what I'm used to or is their another conversion factor? I just got mine back: LDL: 65, HDL: 62, VLDL: 17, Total: 144 My doc was very please with those numbers and said keep it up, so I will.
Anyhow, you are already having a great weekend I hope. Have fun and congrats.

| | G'day Mike The day has gone into the evening here and I see saturday in the next 4 hours LOL. I find that the two things that are LDL is the bad number and the HDL is the good number and that's what I care about. So the conversion is thus LDL 72 and HDL 198 so there you are. What is VLDL? |

| | | Hmm, it sounds to me like your numbers are more probably HDL of 4 and total cholesterol of 11.
I don't know if it's really possible for the human body to have an HDL of 11/198.
An HDL of 4/72 is a very good result and one to be happy with. If the LDL is 7/126 as I suspect, that's good too although a bit closer to being up in an unfavorable range. |

VLDL is very-low-density lipoprotein. Sounds bad so I'm glad my number is low. Your HDL is amazing. You must be eating fiber straight from the stalks!

Am I right that to eat like I do as long the exercise is still on the agenda. I am also on Warfrin wich has some affect. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
