| | | I have been using pens for the last few years however I would just call your old doctor and have him call a pharmacy in AZ. That would most likly be the best and most cost effective way also. I hope this helps !

| | | Well unforunatley I havent had my "own" doctor since I was diagnosed. Its been ten years. I have been getting all my supplies through a free clinic in my last state. So do I need to find a new doctor here in order for them to write a prescription? No other ways to get syringes? |

| | | I'd suggest finding a local Health Dept. and calling them for information. They could probably point you in the right direction. We have several places in my city that offer supplies and prescriptions prorated or free depending on income.

| | | Most states allow the purchase of syringes. There are still some that don't allow the purchase of syringes, but I believe in a majority of states you now can. |

| | Sterile Syringe Access (Needle Exchange) Quote: |
Pharmacy Sale of Syringes - Non-prescription, over-the-counter sale of syringes has recently expanded to include almost all of the United States. Only four states (Delaware, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey) still require prescriptions to purchase syringes. States have taken several different approaches to revising their policies so that syringes can be sold without a prescription, including exempting syringes from paraphernalia laws and broadening language in laws related to medical need.
| So if that page is accurate, you should likely be able to go to a pharmacy and ask about purchasing some syringes. |

| | | Yes, and if they refuse to sell them to you...call your state pharmacy board and report the pharmacist. If it is a big chain, call the main office and complain. |

| | | At the very least get to a walk in clinic or hospital if you can't get any syringes. They'll help you to get them. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
