Exclamation Ascentia contur serius problem...lower BG

First of all i have ascentia contur glycoze meter and it is very good when i use it right....
But sometimes it is showing about 30% lower than the real....
when we take the blood too fast or we have a little bit lower blood on strip the meter show us a faulse bg....like 50 and real was 80....always show lower bg when this happening....

In concusion I've tried it a lot of times and test the my bg with same and others meters and find the problem with this meter.

sorry for my english.... (im trying to be better)

Hmmm. How do you know it's high or low? Are you comparing to another meter? When I don't get enough blood on it, it errors out. I find mine reads higher than my others.

It is difficult to make such conclusions with small samples.

my friend, I had a completely different story.
my Ascentia contur was showing more than 50% too high
I had those replaced 3 times and all of them had problems.
so... I don't use them anymore. FreeStyle now i my choice.
I checked it 2 times against laboratory tests and its always came within 0.2
Also, since you're in Europe, look for meter called HemoCue monitor.
I just found out about this one, its made in Sweden, and apperantly is a best there is.Is it true? I don't know
but I wanna try it.
