Blood Sugar #'s from different places?

Is there a chart somewhere that can be printed - I've noticed that those in Australia & US seem to use a different set of numbers to express blood sugar than what is used in Canada.

I'd like to have a print out so it will all make sense!

I don't. Have a dear friend in Canada. She can tell me the metric system temps so quickly. I decided a long time ago that she knows so much more about the U. S. than I know about Canada. We have another auto immune disease that is the same. My daughter is a hockey fan and they enjoyed talking hockey. She has already decided who will win our election. Maybe someone else can help you.

multiply the Australian/Canadian number by 18 and you get your answer in the US system.

my 18xtimes table is in my head now an is almost instantaneous.

i'll explain Avogadro's number at the next lecture.

It's pretty much only the good ole' USA that still uses mg/dl... the rest of the World has adopted the International Standard (SI) units of mmol/l But as there are so many US folks on this forum many of us will do the calculation and/or show both versions in our posts.
For your convenience there is a converter on this page under "Site Navigation -> Converters"

As a clarification: Wiki says... that USA, Japan, France, Egypt and Colombia use mg/dl, while the rest use mmol/l. Can anyone else please confirm? I'm surprised if France is not using the SI measurement

Thanks everyone! ... the onsite converter is great...I was groaning when I read Joel's note about learning the 18X table...not more times tables!
