What was your 3 month average result on the glucose meter compared to your last HBA1c result?

Mine's been pretty close, but I tend to focus on my fasting and premeal numbers, so my A1c is usually a liitle bit higher than my meter averages would suggest.

Just tepends on when and how often you test.

I haven't really paid all that much attention to it before, but my recent A1c was 7.4 (grrr) and my average is around 160. I think the conversion for a 7.4 A1c should put my average closer to 185 or so.

My last HbA1c on 6/14 was 6.2% and has been stable. My average blood sugars over three months were 114 mg/dl in the morning, and 101 and 100 mg/dl for pre and postprandial. I estimate my HbA1c from my blood sugar average using two methods, DCCT and Nathan. A good reference on these is from Jenny Ruhl Diabetes Update: The Formulas equating HbA1c to Average Glucose Level Don't Work with Near Normal Blood sugars?. Unfortunately, these estimates in my case for HbA1c are 5.8% and 5.5% for DCCT and Nathan respectively.

In my case, I have for some time had an HbA1c that is higher than expected given my blood sugar readings.

My 14 day average is 7.9 and my A1C is 6.0.

When I go high I test a lot which distorts my averages. I don't pay any attention to them.
