What isi your random BS range

Do you guys check random BS level? What is your random BS range?

Diagnosed - 02/28/08

A1C - 09/17/08 = 5.5
A1C - 05/27/08 = 5.7
A1C - 04/03/08 = 7.7
A1C - 02/29/08 = 10.1

Reduced to 1 X 500 on 05/29/08

I check random levels once daily...at a different time each day. Generally these are under between 80 and 100.

T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.
Byetta 5 mcg
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets


Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)

Not sure I understand the question. Are you asking what our bg goal is for any given reading? Or what our bg usually?

Think the question is flawed, in that most of us will only do a Random if we are feeling high or low. So our readings would fall to either side and along with the target readings they will just average out.

Sorry if my question was confusing. I wanted to know what your random BS reading (if you do it) range is. As I expected most of us are in the range 101-150.

It really depends on how recently I've eaten. After two hours, it could very well be below 100. Right now, my 30-day average is running just at 100.
