I've been running high for several days now, without a change in diet. Is it possible for an entire batch of strips (I use Accu-Chek Aviva) to run about 10 points higher than other batches?

Now she's at 5.7 and she hasn't eat or drink anything since dinner. I still feel 5.7 is a bit high after 5h of fasting for a non diabetic... I'm currently at 4.9... that 9.9 reading she had 1h after dinner today really freaked me out a bit
But i'm definitely going to send her to see a doctor soon, to have a GTT and possibly an A1c. She says she has some tingling feeling on and off, tiredness and feeling a bit thirsty most of the time.

Just ate two Ralph's Supermarket brand Carb-Smart yogurts (8 grams carb) and took .35 unit of Novolog as a bolus. I mopped the porch and am trending downward, so only bolused for 4 grams.

| | | i just checked mine and its 11.1. not long ago had dinner maybe an hour ago.
you know if your a little high are you supposed to give yourself some fast acting to lower it a bit.??
if yes can you give some fast acting without eating anything?
and around about how long does the fast acting last in the body?
im a bit confused on this one.
