CGMS users

Do you wear yours all the time? I have been thinking about getting one and I just want to know the patterns of my BS and how different foods and different activities effect my BS. Also want to get it more stable. After you have had it for a couple of months do you continue to wear it 24/7? A couple of users I have talked to wear it for a couple of weeks then take a couple of weeks off.

I do roughly about 20-25 days a month. Once I take one out it takes me a while to pysch myself up enough to put another in. I know..... I'm a wimp. Really though I'd like to 365 days a year. Hmm. Maybe I'll go put a new one in right now. (Took it out on Sat.)

I can honestly say I don't wear mine all the time. They only seem to stay in for 2 days at a time for me before I start having reactions to it. I've been off of one for a month though and really considering going back on it. It does help with the trends alot for me and seems to be quite accurate with finger sticks.

I have had CGMS since February and I wear it all the time - except for maybe a couple of hours when I change it. I change it once a week.

I have had mine since February and have worn it everyday. I would be totally lost without it. It has saved me from some bad lows since I can't always feel them coming on. My A1C went from 7.6 to 7 from May to August.
