| | | Good numbers and words from my Doctor My Doctor says my pancreas is working great, even though it is artificial
A1c 5.2 (normal 4.7 - 5.8)
LDL 89 (normal 0 -135)
HDL 37 (Normal 40 - 60)
Total Cholesterol 140 (Normal 0 - 200)
Triglycerides 70 (Normal 30 - 150)
(about 20 years ago my triglycerides were 366)
My glucose:
4% under 70 (3.8)
95% 70 -125 (3.9 - 6.9)
1% > 125 (7)
(he says non-diabetics would have a larger spread)
28 day Standard Deviation from Navigator CGMS 16
3 month Standard Deviation from one touch 14.6
Being T2 helps, my pump helps, walking 5 miles a day seems to make no difference (but has to be good in other ways), I feel the low carbs (<80 ave) makes the biggest difference.

-Lloyd | GREAT JOB Lloyd! interesting about the exercise!
i have done little exercise in the last few weeks because it is a deep winter here. rainy and snowy. just the usual commute and chopping wood and burning off etc.
i find that the exercise and drugs do little to lower my Blood Glucose levels. I agree that i get the maximum effect from the reduced carbs.
so i SECOND THAT MOTION!
well done that man.......
