Sticky Blood?????

From another thread:

Quote:
Memo: sugar free Red Bull makes your blood 'sticky' An Australian study found the sugar free version of the caffeine-loaded beverage causes the blood to become sticky and increases the chance of a life threatening clot.
Dr Scott Willoughby, who tested the drink on students, said: “One hour after they drank Red Bull, their blood systems were no longer normal. They were abnormal like we would expect in a patient with cardiovascular disease.
“If you add in other risk factors for cardiovascular disease - stress or high blood pressure - this could be potentially deadly.”
I am a confessed Diet Coke junkie. Is this why I have noticed that blood in my forearm flows quicker into my test strip than blood from my fingers? Has anyone else noticed this?

I guess that this is what they meant when they said that

"Red Bull gives you wings"

It turns you into an angel.

Wow! Isn't that something. I'm glad I never tried it!

You bleed more easily from the arm because blood vessels are bigger and closer to the skin surface. I really don't think it has anything to do with drinking coke .

Not the quickness of bleeding------but how fast the droplet is absorbed into the strip.
